Rapunzel Update!

As I have mentioned, I have a Rapunzel costume for the upcoming party. Mentioning this has meant that people want to see pictures of the costume.

I haven't taken pictures of everything, but have what I've got. They're links as the resulting images are a little too big for the blog.

Some Sort of Update

Posted By on Monday, October 13th, 2014, 15:15

I have no idea what I'm doing for NaNoWriMo this year. I know I'm doing something. Just not what.

In other news, I am failing completely at watching television shows.

And I'm writing some sort of presumed Christmas story, though I'm not sure where it's going or what I'm doing with it. But it is somewhat fun nevertheless.

Oh, I'm also attempting to get all the PSN trophies for FFX in Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster.

Displeased With Nintendo

And the Australian customer service branch of Nintendo.

I have a 3DS. XL, specifically.

A new 3DS/3DS XL is going to be coming out the same day as the newest Pokémon games, which I'm vaguely interested in buying. Which means, for me, trading in my old one.

Now. I have a Steam account. I can sign into that account on any computer, and play all my games on that computer.

I have a PSN ID; by signing into it on a PS3/Vita, I can access any game content I'm entitled to. …hear more of the echoing dust…

A Counterpoint to Mayim's Frozen Thoughts

So Mayim Bialik has penned a rant about Frozen. I'd like to offer some counterpoints to what she's said and will be liberally quoting what she wrote for context.

Sure, it's sort of hidden, but the search for a man/love/Prince is still the reigning plot line in the movie, as it is with pretty much all movies for young people which are animated. The sister's desire to marry this guy she just met, and the other sister getting mad at her–we still have a plot about the identification of a woman being based on her desire and search to meet a man.

This makes me wonder if we watched the same movie. …hear more of the echoing dust…

Make A Stand For Net Neutrality

I have temporarily added a widget to my sites.

It seems the fight is apparently American based (for now), and I'm Australian–but the point is one worth fighting for.

Net neutrality is important. Let's not give it up.
